About Howard freeman

My goal in life is to add lasting value: for my clients, colleagues and contacts; for my family, friends and community.

With almost three decades of experience in fundraising, sales and marketing, I have a passion for connecting people with resources and people who can deploy those resources to execute on a shared vision for an increasingly bright future. I have co-founded and advised multiple startups in various sectors from Pre-seed to Series B and in the nonprofit sector, raising over $220 million to date and creating innovative solutions for some of the world's most pressing challenges.

I co-founded Team Wildfire, a climate-tech company that uses patent-pending jet-engine technology to fight wildfires and minimize their devastating impacts. I was honored to be employee #2 and to secure early investors for this industry-disruptive venture.

Since Fall 2022, I have had the privilege of working closely with almost a dozen founders of early-stage companies in a variety of sectors. My current work also includes working alongside the partners at Harbright Ventures, an early-stage investment group that fuels the growth of extraordinary ideas and creates the best possible stakeholder outcomes via disciplined, transparent processes and thorough due diligence. Harbright enjoys a unique deal flow out of the Wolfpack Investor Network (WIN), associated with N.C. State, my alma mater.
