We’ve established our business on nearly 30 years of building and maintaining relationships. Therefore, we believe people are paramount. Most businesses say this. We mean it: since what we do is to connect people whom we know, our business literally wouldn’t exist without putting people first. These relationships must come before a “good deal” and be repaired if there’s a “bad” one.
As we put people first, each of us has others in our lives who come before anyone or anything else: Our family, friends and other loved ones. We acknowledge that you, too, are prioritizing certain people in your life. We respect that. Therefore, we strive toward:
For Lenox Hill Partners to be successful and care for our loved ones, we must help you be successful so you can care for yours. We strive for win-win.
We believe that by putting our loved ones first and acknowledging that you are as well, we can strive together for win-win or can agree that there might be a different time for a better deal.
That’s the foundation of trust on which we operate.
We believe that in helping to fund companies that allow the world to flourish and humanity to thrive, we are indeed putting people first. We are acting with enlightened self-interest. And we are achieving a Win-Win at scale.
I started Lenox Hill Partners to connect people who share a vision for a thriving humanity. Most of our work is helping startups find investors. Some of it is helping emerging managers find investors. Some of it is helping nonprofits find donation revenue.
Why "Lenox Hill Partners"?
Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City is where I was born, yet until 2020 I believed I'd been born in a different hospital. In February of that year, I met my birth mother, and she filled in a lot of information gaps.
The minor detail (to me) of the hospital I was born in nonetheless underscores that the connections we make and maintain give our lives contour and meaning. I've spent nearly three decades establishing and strengthening connections between people -- visionaries in different fields -- so that together they can create and continually renew a world in which our children can thrive.
I myself am not a visionary. But I do work with a whole lot of them.
